I’m thoroughly enjoying this song right now. Kanye is talking shit brilliantly as usual & it’s good to see Symbolic 1 get some shine.
Nigga always says exactly what i’m thinking. “I don’t need yo PU$$Y bitch i’m all on my dick” – Kanye West

I’m not going to stop promoting this emcee til you guys hop on the bandwagon lol
Ever since the homie J.Bizness introduced me to his music i’ve been a fan. I put Diamond District & DJ Quartermaine on to the 3P he did with J.Bizness & Rappersiknow and they bumped that shit NON-STOP while in LA.
Here’s some new shit from the “Million Dollar Man” called Money Maker feat Skeem Price and Mr. Sobers. You can grab the rest of the #randommixtape 1.0 HERE
So a friend of mine emailed a link to this article Titled: “5 Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires.” At first I thought it was some ol’ bullshit, but this is a seriously good article to read. A few things in this article jumped out at me immediately.
The fact that wise spending is something related to Millionaires. I already knew that, but it didn’t hurt to read it again.
This stat right here is kinda fresh “…80 percent of Americans worth at least $5 million grew up in middle-class or lesser households…”
But I mainly noticed that all of the people they spoke of in the article simply made a decision to make it happen, then just started taking steps to make it. I for one believe that at some point we are all going to have to make this decision. Not just to be a millionaire, but with any and everything that we want in life.
Most of us are always told the negative stats before we get to the goal. We are often discouraged and warned not to attempt anything great. Well, at some point you gone haf’ta be about that shit or not, and using other people’s words or influence as an excuse aint gone help you when you look back on your life and realize that you never truly aimed for ultimate happiness. I mean, you can fuss all you want, but you are the only person suffering lol
Anyway, read the article when you get a minute. Very interesting stuff, some not so new, but good to read anyway.
With rumors and “leaks” of the the iPhone 4G swirling around, many of you with the 3G, like me, have been waiting for the moment that they dropped the 3GS price so that we can take advantage. Welp, the moment has arrived.
According to a CNNMoney report, Walmart (aka small business Galactus) has announced that it will sell the iPhone 3GS 16GB for $97 with a 2 year plan. Not a bad deal at all considering the recent release of Spirit which is untethered jailbreak for the 3GS. There are a lot of proven jailbroken apps that work well with the 3GS already, so you can get up to date quickly and also have the speed that it offers.
This looks like solid proof that the iPhone 4G is on it’s way in June, but you never truly know with Apple so if you’re in the market for a new phone, and have been looking at the 3GS, now is as good a time as any to cop one.
So I was over @ oddiseemusic.blogspot.com and saw that DJ Premier played DMV emcee/producer yU’s “Almost Time” on his podcast a few weeks back. “Almost Time” is featured on yU’s Before Taxes album and is produced by Landover, Maryland’s own Kev Brown.
This was posted on May 13th, which was also around the same time that Detroit’s Bling 47/Platinum Pied Piper Wajeed twittered that yU is one of his favorite emcees out right now (read it for yourself). Rounding that out with some very ill Diamond District shows in Seattle, Pomona & Portland and a few days to just chill in LA I would have to say that yU was a candidate for “Best Week Ever.” lol
If you haven’t picked up “Before Taxes” please do so immediately. 1/3 of the DMV crew Diamond District, yU IS one of the most genuine emcees out right now PERIOD. Him and the homie Slimkat (also known as the 78′ers) teamed up to drop a brilliant LP. Originally posted as a free download months ago @ freshselects.netBefore Taxes is actually on the beginning, yU’s Official Joint “The Earn” drops in Oct.
Check out this mini mix feat the homie Basicali. This mix is a prelude to Basicali’s new album due to drop July 1st.

For those that know this video dropped a week ago, please understand that I am not LATE on this one. I wanted to take the time to be able to write a few words about this one to all my folks from the 626 that used to take the Foothill Transit to Tower Records and battle/freestyle with folks from other schools. This is also a message to all those who came up with local crew names for the whole city (Anivoc) and cheered when they saw Mr. Grimm smoking weed in Higher Learning. Yes ya’ll, this is another PROUD MOMENT FOR THE 626!

Hawdwerk & Jansport J are a 2 man emcee/producer combo bread in the 626. With the independent release of their debut album High Power Moves” these 2 brothas have been making their rounds in the LA underground scene and getting props at every turn. I recently had the pleasure of touring with them (along with Basical & J.Bizness) and I have to say that unlike a lot of upcoming artist that receive “blog love” they are humble, hardworking and very live on stage.
I was EXTRA HYPED to see their new video “Ride” and find that just about every spot in West Covina was repped on camera PROUDLY. If you are from the city you will LOVE THIS VIDEO. Please go out and support these dudes, go to a show, get the album. They are putting the 626 on the map something serious right now!
