TONIGHT (7/30): Los Angeles, I will see you all @ Unity. This is a very special show for me in the city because Unity was a huge influence on me when I was younger. Shout out to Mark Luv for letting me get down. Click here for more info…
TOMORROW (7/31): I get to hit the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) for the FIRST TIME EVER. Mello Music Group x Oddisee Music & Trek Life are proud to present the iTunes release of “Everything Changed Nothing.” You can purchase it NOW on iTunes and pre-order the physical copy at UGHH.com
We’d like to thank everyone for coming out to the LA release party this past Saturday July 24th and would like to invite everyone in the LA area to the listening party at Freedom of the Beats 1 year anniversary party inside the Blu Monkey Room tonight! (Thursday July 29th). This event features DJ Revolution on the ones & two’s. Entry to Freedom of the Beats is free with RSVP (RSVP HERE).
If this isn’t enough to convince you that you should check for the new album “Everything Changed Nothing” I don’t know what else to tell you lol. Oddisee has put together a collection of West Coast inspired beats for free download.
The beat-tape also feat two full tracks, “Get In Touch,” feat Richard Wright, Belvi & J.Bizness and “So Supreme,” show how the blending of Oddisee’s beats back up Trek Life’s lyrical flow. Even though “Get In Touch” will not be on the full LP, it embraces the same theme as the album and is a good indication, along with “So Supreme” of the high quality of the music Trek Life and Oddisee have been making together.
Trek Life’s album Everything Changed Nothing produced by Oddisee drops July 27th on iTunes and Aug 10th on CD and VINYL. You can pre-order the album @ ughh.com.
If you’ve ever been to a Trek Life show you know the man behind the wheels controlling the sound very well. Tommy Blak & I have been doing shows together for years now and one thing that is for certain on EVERY tour is that Tommy will raid my laptop for music when I go to sleep lol.
This is the result of a raid that ended up with him finding a folder of a few collaborations that he hadn’t heard before. He got on a missioin to start collecting dropping those songs that came out on various albums with my peers since Price I’ve Paid dropped to get people up to speed before the new album came out.
So…without further or due we present to you the Mixtape: “Before Everything Changed.” An obviously clever play on the album upcoming album titled “Everything Changed Nothing.” My partner in rhyme J.Bizness hosted the mixtape & Brian of 5AP hooked up the cover. Ya’ll you can grab the mixtape right HERE!
Speaking of the upcoming album, for those of ya’ll that want to catch a peak at the album before it drops, please head over to http:myspace.com/treklife and you can preview the WHOLE ALBUM. Please feel free to pre-order it if you like it @ http://ughh.com.
I can’t explain how excited I am to perform these songs live at home for the first time. Please mark you calendars and be prepared for the release party for my 2nd album Everything Changed Nothing. The album is produced by Oddisee. We will be having 3 release parties in LA, DC & San Diego. But this first one will be a very special hometown performance as Bridges & Boombox, 2 of the best spots for hip-hop in LA, combine for one night!
Though the album drops on iTunes on July 27th & on CD on Aug 10th you can preorder Everything Changed Nothing now @ UGHH
You can listen to and download So Supreme, the 1st single from the album right now on iTunes (Click here).
So the final verdict in all the hoopla about “antennagate” is that Apple has acknowledged that 0.55% of iphone4’s have this issue, fair enough. I felt the same thing.
So starting next week, you can take get a free bumper from Apple’s website to resolve this issue. If you already bought one apple will refund you $30 or you can STILL return your phone for a FULL refund for the next 30 days. Case Closed
Look I’m not a big fan of Apple, it’s really Mac users that bother me lol, but THIS was kinda stupid. If you don’t like your phone, TAKE IT BACK!!!
If you’ve been up on thangs the past few days, you’ll know that the first single So Supreme of the upcoming album Everything Changed Nothing produced by Oddisee dropped on Tuesday morning. Receiving immediate love from blogs & fans alike, we are proud to provide ya’ll with that dopeness.
Speaking of dopeness, check out the DJ Buddy Mini Vid of So Supreme. Shout out the 626 skaters: Kevin, Dusty & O.G. (in the button up).
